Internationally, April marked the opening of Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives, a serene private island retreat that completes The Atollia by Centara Hotels & Resorts. With this addition, Centara now offers four distinct experiences in the Maldives, each designed to serve different market segments and preferences. Domestically, we strengthened our Thailand presence with the opening of Centara Life Wisma Hotel Ratchaburi in April and Centara Villas Phi Phi Island in May, reinforcing our foothold in high-demand tourism destinations.
Our brand evolution initiatives in 2025 included the successful launch of Centara Karon Villas Phuket, an exclusive villas-only enclave at our Karon property, alongside the strategic rebranding from Centara Boutique Collection to The Centara Collection. These both reflect our ongoing efforts to refine brand architecture and deliver more targeted guest experiences across our portfolio.
Sustainability remains a core pillar of Centara’s strategy, and ESG principles are embedded across our development plans, operational practices, and guest experiences. We continue to integrate environmental responsibility, social engagement, and strong governance into daily decision-making, recognising that responsible growth is essential to long-term value creation for all stakeholders.
Our 2026 pipeline includes multiple properties in established and emerging markets. Notable developments include our Nepal market entry with Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara, The Centara Collection, and the comprehensive transformation of our Krabi property into Centara Reserve Krabi, our second luxury offering, scheduled for late 2026.
Additionally, we are continuing the comprehensive refurbishment of Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin and development of neighbouring land. This landmark project will celebrate the heritage property's proud history while introducing contemporary flourishes, alongside the reimagining of the former villas as a new resort under The Centara Collection brand, and the addition of a new Centara Life hotel, creating three distinct and exceptional experiences in the heart of Hua Hin.
